Wendy Lewis’ career in the world of aesthetic medicine spans over two decades. She founded Wendy Lewis & Co Ltd Global Aesthetics Consultancy in 1997, and her client roster has grown to include private individuals, physicians, medspas and surgery centers, as well as an elite group of pharmaceutical, cosmetics, skin care and medical device companies in the US, Canada and European markets. She is a well recognized expert in the field and enjoys an excellent reputation among industry leaders as well as physicians across all specialties.
Wendy is the author of 11 consumer health and beauty books, including two editions of America’s Cosmetic Doctors & Dentists (Castle Connolly), and Plastic Makes Perfect; The Complete Cosmetic Beauty Guide (Orion), and the Vibrant Nation Health Guide entitled Cosmetic Procedures and Plastic Surgery Over 50 published in 2010.
In 2008 Wendy founded Beautyinthebag.com, a global cosmetic beauty forum that has developed a loyal roster of fans, followers, and subscribers. She is a Columnist for Plastic Surgery Practice (PSP) and Editorial Director of Glow Beauty Magazine, Beauty & Skincare Editor for Healthnewsdigest.com, a Columnist for Skin & Aging, and a contributor to Aesthetic Trends & Technologies, Skin Inc., Medesthetics, Aesthetic Surgery News, TATLER, and many other consumer and trade publications and websites.
A frequent speaker at many international medical congresses and cosmetic industry meetings including IMCAS, ASAPS, AAFPRS, FACE, AAWC, APSSNY, and many others, Wendy is on the Advisory Board for HBA Global Expo, and a popular course instructor and lecturer at industry conferences in the US and Europe. Wendy has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America, Today New York, BBC, VH1, MSNBC, Discovery Channel, 60 Minutes, Fox TV, and many other television and radio broadcasts. She has published more than 300 articles in consumer magazines, newspapers and professional journals on two continents and is frequently quoted in consumer and trade publications in the US and throughout the EU.
Wendy received her B.A. cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University and attended Cornell University, University of London for undergraduate coursework, as well as Fordham University Graduate School of Business.
