Wendy Lewis

Wendy Lewis’ career in the world of aesthetic medicine spans over two decades. She founded Wendy Lewis & Co Ltd Global Aesthetics Consultancy in 1997, and her client list includes private individuals, physicians, medspas and surgery centers, as well as an elite roster of pharmaceutical, cosmetics, skin care and medical device companies in the US, Canada and Europe. She is a well recognized expert in the field with an excellent reputation among industry leaders as well as physicians across all specialties.

Wendy Lewis is the author of 11 books including America’s Cosmetic Doctors & Dentists (Castle Connolly Medical), Plastic Makes Perfect (Orion), and Cosmetic Surgery Over 50 (Vibrantnation). In 2008, she founded and has served as Editor in Chief of this international cosmetic beauty forum.

She is a prolific writer for consumer publications and trade journals, and serves as a Contributing Editor for Plastic Surgery Practice, on the Editorial Board of Prime International Anti-Ageing Journal, Beauty & Skincare Columnist for, and columnist for the Aesthetics Journal. She is also a contributor to New You, Modern Aesthetics, Practical Dermatology, Soap Perfumery & Cosmetics, Body Language, Medesthetics, Surgical Aesthetics, Aesthetic Medicine, Aesthetic Medical Practitioner, and many other publications and websites.

A frequent speaker at many international medical congresses and cosmetic industry meetings including IMCAS, ASAPS, AAFPRS, FACE, AAWC, Vegas Cosmetic Surgery, and many others, Wendy is on the Advisory Board for HBA Global Expo, and a popular course instructor and lecturer at industry conferences in the US and Europe. Wendy has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America, Today New York, BBC, GMTV, VH1, MSNBC, Discovery Channel, 60 Minutes, Fox TV, and many other television and radio broadcasts. She has published more than 500 articles in consumer magazines, newspapers and professional journals on two continents and is frequently quoted in the media in the US and EU.

Wendy received her B.A. cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University and attended Cornell University, University of London for undergraduate coursework, as well as Fordham University Graduate School of Business.

Her special expertise in social media has earned her a strong presence across a network of influential platforms. She is currently working on her next book for CRC Press on aesthetic practice marketing.

Melissa is a seasoned communications professional and principal of Melissa Kelz Communications, Inc., based in Chicago and New York. She has over 15 years of experience in the fields of beauty, consumer products, eCommerce, healthcare and corporate communications with a proven track record of generating visibility through coverage in national and regional media.

Melissa is an award-winning writer and has earned a reputation for being a results-driven professional. She was a Vice President at Behrman Communications in New York City where she directed consumer health and beauty accounts, including the launch of the NoNo professional hair removal system, Age-Less 15 from Cellex-C featuring Joan Collins, and SmoothShapes for Eleme Medical. Melissa earns regular placements for her clients on popular television outlets including, The View, The Today Show, Fox National News, Telemundo, and in top newspapers and magazines including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, Newsweek, W, Vogue, Elle, More, Allure, Women’s Health, Prevention, and many more.

Melissa was previously an Associate Vice President at Euro RSCG Magnet in New York City where she managed media relations and corporate communication for clients including Vichy USA, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (AAFPRS), the Skoll Foundation, Yahoo! She has held communications and public relations positions at CIGNA HealthCare, Fleishman Hillard, and CorSolutions.

Melissa earned her M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Medill School at Northwestern University, and her B.S. in Social Policy from Northwestern University. She spent time in Spain studying at Universidad de Salamanca. She is a Board Member of Face the Future Foundation through the University of Illinois Hospital.

Ran Berkman

Ran leads a team of web design and marketing professionals at Webtools Group in the US, Europe and Israel who provide clients with advanced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) solutions, online advertising management platforms, website designs, eCommerce solutions, online marketing consulting, e-newsletter systems, GUI design and other capabilities.

Webtools has consulted with many consumer products, medical device and healthcare brands, including Ben & Jerry’s, The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Dello Russo Laser Vision, ECI Telecom, Coca Cola Israel, Cryoshape Ltd, Ellman International, Invasix, and many other global corporations.  Under Ran’s direction, Webtools also manages highly successful web marketing campaigns for some of the leading physician practices and clinics, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, and facial plastic surgeons, as well as medspas and clinics in the US and the UK.

Prior to founding Webtools, Ran gained significant technical and business expertise working withing the Israeli venture capital community and helping to develop the EZPC computer learning system. He has served as an Internet and IT specialist in the Israeli Defense Forces, and is fluent in Hebrew as well as Spanish.

He earned a B.B.A. degree in Finance, Summa Cum Laude from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and subsequently earned an M.B.A in Management and Entrepreneurship.
